Our research revolves around the future of spatial design using cross-disciplinary approaches that prioritize system thinking and develop methods and practices for integrating human experiences into design criteria. ​ Directed by Anna Gitelman, EDL synthesizes innovations in environmental science, art, and humanities and works towards creating interior ecosystems that highlight human experiences and promote wellbeing. Our mission is to develop a new narrative for interior environments that will prioritize adaptive and inclusive spaces responsive to real-time climate challenges.
